Week 33: Artistic Collaboration

July 19, 2016 – Hey! Did you know today is the 177th birthday of the invention of photography? Yep. Sure is. In honor of this milestone, we went silly with this week’s challenge of Artistic Collaboration.  Mom and I paired up and came up with this bit of ridiculousness.

Week 33: Artistic Collaboration

Doesn’t matter what you shoot, just do with another artist. Share visit ons and ideas. Collaborate.

Man! Do we find ourselves in absurd predicaments!

Mom, who is also doing the challenge, lives in Arizona and I’m in California so we planned this out via text.

My Photoshop skills are marginal at best, since I don’t believe in tampering with photos much beyond contrast and color, so I took this opportunity to learn a little. First we found the creature photo.

I took my selfie to go under the left hand…

And Mommy made her photo for the right hand…

And this is what we came up with.

Pretty fun, right? Even with my weak Photoshop skills.

Until next week’s Portrait Child (but I have no children in my life!!!!!)…

Later Gators!
