50 Happy Days: CROWS

MAY 21, 2014

Would you look at that? We’re at the halfway point of the 100 Happy Days!! My pal Jenny and I started this together, and for her halfway point, she posted this, along with a few of her favorite pictures:

Day 50 #100happydays Halfway through the happiness challenge!! On day 50 I am really glad that I decided to do this; I have been in a much better mood, and I really enjoy trying to think about what’s good vs. what’s “wrong” I really recommend checking it out  http://100happydays.com/

She’s so right. When you consciously think of happy, you become happy. My colleague Michelle Valles posted this on Instagram, and I felt it perfectly fit with the theme.:

I seriously love this quote. It truly is a choice to be in a good mood, to be happy.

So what made me happy today? CROWS!!!! I love the crazy beasts. Have you ever watched them? You should. Their antics are fascinating. If you haven’t watched the PBS documentary MURDER OF CROWS, you totally should. Just click the name and it will take you to the link.

The crow in my picture was scavenging food in a fast food parking lot. He wasn’t too happy with me for chasing him away, although if he saw how stinking cool he looks in this picture, he might change his mind.

My feller is quite obsessed with crows too. Whenever we see them, we call out to them, “Crow! Crow!” so they know we’re the good guys. Brian even draws crows…

So what was my news day today? Not much in the mood to chat much about it. Our story on a new Garden Grove waterpark got dropped for a breaker, a woman who went to police saying her husband kidnapped her when she was 15, and had been assaulting her ever since, even forcing her into marriage.

But let’s get back to crows. Because crows are awesome. Except I’m now at the end of my post with no more crows to post.

Until tomorrow,

Later gators!

LATER GATORS!

Have a project? Let’s chat!
